Chantal Hambides is an accomplished design professional, entrepreneur, and business leader with experience in residential design, renovation, project coordination, and client- focused consulting.

She graduated from her formal education in Interior Design in South Africa, where she developed a strong foundation in design principles, spatial planning, material selection, project management, and construction-related processes.

Following her education, Chantal worked in various companies and, in 2024, established and successfully operated her own interior design practice, managing residential renovation and furnishing projects for private clients.

Through her entrepreneurial experience, she has developed expertise in business management, client relations, budgeting, vendor coordination, project delivery, and strategic planning.

Her ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and oversee projects from concept through completion has provided her with the practical business and leadership skills necessary to direct and develop a growing enterprise

Chantal’s professional career has been shaped by international exposure to both African and European design environments. After working on residential and commercial projects throughout South Africa, she spent more than five years in Amsterdam, where she gained valuable experience in contemporary European design approaches, efficient project execution, and functional building solutions. This international perspective has strengthened her understanding of design innovation, operational efficiency, and customer-focused service delivery.

Now based in Greenville, South Carolina, Chantal combines her design expertise, entrepreneurial background, and management experience to lead Build Alfa LLC.
